Added confirmed and predicted filamentous fungi TER sequences. Altered the display from an inframe window to an expanding div element for TR and TERT sequences to be shown directly below the record. Collapsed the species-specific tables for easier navagation. Added a more indepth depiction of the TR and TERT at the top of each page.

Additional Candida TR sequences are added, including largest TR identified so far Candida glabrata. The 5’ and 3’ ends of the Candida glabrata sequence have yet to be determined and no NCBI record is available. The largest proposed sequence for Candida glabrata is derived from genome record NC_006032 (668084-670574) is available under .seq button.

Additional Strongylocentrotus purpuratus (purple sea urchin) TERT sequences are available for both the short and long variants. These additional sequences are an expansion within the HTML table. The accession numbers for Nothobranchius furzeri (turquoise killifish) TR and TERT are posted for both the short-lived GMZ and longer living MZM-0403 strains. A link to NCBI will be created when the record becomes available.

The graphical interface for embedded DHTML windows to replace user-initiated independent secondary windows for small data sets (sequences, secondary structures, etc.) is now complete. The site is completely operational and will not longer have any down time for the foreseeable future. These embedded windows are an effort to reduce ‘clutter’ associated with attempting to view sequences, structures, and alignments in an independent window. The alignment window, and many other embedded windows, can be converted into standard independent windows via the top-right pointed arrow and can be close by the standard x-close symbol. Please use the feedback function, located at the top of each page, for any comments or concerns with the new interface, as well as any suggestions for amendments to the database.

The graphics were amended for the location of mutations known to cause disease within human patients, incorporating additional mutations discovered for telomerase RNA component, telomerase reverse transcriptase, and dyskerin protein. The updated graphics are available for download via the link below each and a link has been added below each table to download the table of mutations as an excel workbook (.xls
